I am now the proud father of a 2 year old. Sometimes I think that the hospital switched my baby with one slightly older since my baby seems to have embarked upon her journey through the Terrible Two's six months early.

She's really a good kid, though. She is very polite ("No thank you, Daddy") and she is genuinely concerned about your well-being if you so much as sneeze ("Okay? Okay, Daddy?"). She also knows when she's done wrong ("I'm sorry, Daddy"). She can even tell me why I put her in Time-Out without me having to tell her ("I threw my rice on the floor"). Not bad for a little kid who just turned two.

She's pretty much done with her biting phase, and she rarely hits other kids (unless they really piss her off).

She's into The Wiggles, The Simpsons, any Pixar movie (especially The Incredibles and Monsters, Inc.), and Spongebob Squarepants.

Her vocabulary is growing exponentially, ambiguous curse words included. Sometimes she'll say something that sounds bad, but isn't. Example: tonight she was saying, "Sit." You can guess what it sounded like to Tiff and me.

She is definitely related to me: she snores, she burps, she laughs at times when laughter may be considered inappropriate by the anyone else. And she is definitely related to Tiffany because she has Tiffany's sickeningly-sweet demeanor, and I saw the doctors pulling Kenzie out of Tiffany's abdomen.

Kenzie's two years old now. It's hard to believe sometimes. The past two years have gone so fast, they've been a blur. Fortunately, the pictures are in focus. Go to the Andys Pics page for some photos of the munchkin. I'll post more soon (hopefully).

Till then,

-andy
